Global Employment Solutions is a Denver based staffing and recruiting firm. The firm is currently owned by the TZP Group.

Corporate History

Staffing firms provide workers for business. When the employment market is hot, staffing firms excel. During economic dips, the firms are often the first firms to fail. As one can imagine, the staffing industry changes with each business cycle.

Staffing firms are often subject to complex merger chains. Their mergers are often poorly documented.

The GES history page indicates that Global Employment Solutions was founded in 1998 through a merger of staffing firms. They then acquired companies called TPS, FAST, Main Line, Excell and Southeastern.

The company traded over the counter with the symbol GEYH. I could not find the history of this stock ticker.

In 2007, Global acquired Career Blazers which had offices in NYC, New Jersey and Washington DC. (businesswire)

It appears that Victory Park Capital acquired GES in 2009 and that TZP Group LLC acquired the group in 2014.
