I actually discovered Dolomite Designs when the picture to the right (Lone Skier by Mark Miller) was featured as BigStockPhoto picture of the week.

Microstock programs allow you to buy photos for inclusion in web and graphics projects for as little as a buck a photo. You need to read the license.

I cropped and significantly compressed the image. The original photo was 2.7MB and is absolutely stunning. My super cropped version is 60kb.

The microstock license allows me to legally include this wonderful image on my site for an affordable price. Mike Miller has a number of other great photos BigStockPhoto.com.
