Mother Cabrini Shrine

Sacred Heart Statue

Mother Cabrini Shrine is place of prayer and pilgramage in the hill tops West of Denver.

This shrine was founded by St. Frances Cabrini (July 15, 1850 ? December 22, 1917) who was a missionary for the Daughters of the Sacred Heart in the United States. The shrine includes the Sacred Heart statue (that overlooks travelers on I70), a miraculous spring, and a short walk that includes the Stations of the Cross and Ten Commandments.

I like to stop at the Shrine on long cross country voyages as the shrine provides an opportunity to stretch the legs, a great view and spiritual renewal.

The web sites Mother Cabrini Shrine and www.Den-Cabrini-Shrine.org both appear to be official web sites for the shrine.
