The founding principal of the public education system is that we must bend the student to fit the school.
Sadly, the public school ideology fails far too many students.
Academy of Urban Learning is a charter school that takes a higher path and bends the school to fit the student. The school targets students who are at risk due to homelessness, unstable living conditions or other challenges that can ruin a school career.
